60 Seconds of Beauty
60 SECONDS OF BEAUTY
Where can you find
beauty? What is beauty to you?
Ed Video’s "60 Seconds
of Beauty” community arts project aims to help Guelphites discover beauty
everywhere, sixty seconds at a time.
Participants will be
encouraged to record the equivalent of a sixty second ‘snapshot’ of an item,
occurrence, or view which they see as beautiful. The idea is to find the moments of beauty all
around, in small moments and every day occurrences. Keep your camera steady,
your focus clear, and show us what you see. You may edit your video or submit
it as one continuous shot.
These videos will be presented on screens
in various areas in Guelph.
Everyone,
of all ages and experience levels, is encouraged to submit. Submissions from aboriginal and marginalized
people are strongly encouraged.
This is a community arts
based project, offered at no cost to members of our community. No screening
fees will be paid.
